A midcentury sideboard by Heals, early 1950s. Mahogany carcass with interested routed side panels and contrasting sliding sycamore doors with recessed handles. Smart black base and legs.
Designer unknown so I assume it is an in-house piece by Heals. Would sit nicely with other British midcentury designs like Robin Day.
Inside there is a shelf on one side and a deep drawer and a pull out removable tray. There is a Heals ivorine label inset into the drawer edge.
In good vintage condition. Some light marks to the top, there is a slight split in the top but this isn’t distracting and has been reflected in the price. Inside the cabinet is clean.
