1920s/1930s ebonised dresser

£0.00
sold out

1920s/30s dresser or sideboard with ebonised finish. No maker’s marks but very much in the style of Heals/Bowman Brothers pieces of the period with simple lines and minimal decoration.

Two pull out drawers, three cupboards (two with shelves) and a lower shelf area. Would work nicely in a dining room for storing crockery or in a living room with lower book/vinyl storage. There is also a secret lift up door at the back of the top with storage.

The finish is original, it has worn nicely to reveal areas of the wood underneath, there are also scratches and scuffs and a small bit of missing wood to one rear side edge. The catches on two doors are missing, could be easily replaced but the doors stay shut as they are.

99cm wide x 42.75cm deep x 96.5cm high (inc back lip)
