1950s Eckhoff rosewood cutlery

A large set of cutlery designed by renowned Norwegian industrial designer and ceramic artist Tias Eckhoff, circa 1950s/60s. Stainless steel with rosewood handles.

Consists of 11 dinner knives, 8 dinner forks, 8 side forks, 8 side knives, 8 soup spoons, 7 dessert spoons, a butter knife and a fruit knife.

The stainless steel is in good condition, the rosewood has a nice deep colour. On some of the handles there is some wear to the finish (more photos available on request) and one handle has a split (see last photo). The set has been priced competitively to reflect this.
