Lamp designed in 1966/67 by John Brown for Plus Lighting, UK. Can be used as either a table/desk lamp or also wall hung by the metal base.
There isn’t much information out there about John Brown unfortunately although he did design a number of lights for Plus Lighting and also Poole Lighting. These lamps have become little classics of British midcentury design.
Black painted metal tube with bent metal base. Has the original black paint which is in remarkable condition, no dents, just one very small scratch. The white inside of the shade has some mottling/ageing (see photos). Base is in excellent condition.
