1970s rosewood plywood sofa
Amazing 1970s plywood sofa. Rosewood veneered plywood sides and backs with newly upholstered plump feather cushions in velvet corduroy from Designers Guild. Great oversized visible screw fittings.
This design is usually attributed to Norwegian designer Sigurd Ressell but I’ve also been told it was by a British company called Jonathan Hardy.
Very comfortable and looks beautiful from every angle. The wood has been repolished.
