Alvar Aalto 31 chair, Finmar
A rare model 31 chair by Alvar Aalto, designed in 1931 and distributed by Finmar. Cantilevered frame of laminated birch plywood. Remnants of Finmar label on the underside of the frame.
The chair was painted by the previous owner, it has been restored and is in good condition. The rear of the legs have pulled slightly to one side over the years (see last photo from behind).
