Model 611 chair designed in 1929 by Alvar Aalto, manufactured by Oy Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab, Turku, Finland. This is an early 1930s production and had been in the same family since purchase.
Birch plywood seat and backrest with birch frame. In very solid original condition, lots of patina and wear, lovely golden colour acquired over the years. Stamped to the underside.
