Beautiful little child's chair by Robin Nance, St Ives, Cornwall.
Robin and his brother Dicon were very much part of the creative community in St Ives from the 1930s. As well as making furniture they also made pottery wheels for Leach Pottery, frames for painters inc Ben Nicholson and plinths for Barbara Hepworth.
Chair is all sturdy with good patina, looks like there was a repair at the back edge of the seat at some point. Stamped to the underside.
49cm high x 25cm seat height.
