‘Urban Abstract’ by Colin Fifield, undated but circa late 1960s/early 1970s.

Colin was a painter & potter, born in Greenwich, London. He went to Camberwell School of Art and Crafts and continued his studies at the Slade School of Fine Art where he was taught by William Townsend, Frank Auerbach & Euan Uglow.

He exhibited widely in London and the South East & Kent, including the prestigious Bankside Gallery and has work in the Slade Collection. His inspiration comes mainly from the landscapes of Kent especially the coastal areas of Dungeness, Deal, Folkestone and Hastings.

Housed in a simple wooden frame (some damage to frame bottom left corner). Signed on the front and reverse.

Dimensions including frame 59cm wide x 51.75cm high. Price includes free UK delivery.
