David Mellor Java cutlery

£365.00

48 piece set of Java cutlery designed by master metalworker David Mellor in 1977. Made of stainless steel with broad red acetal resin handles. No longer in production and a rarely seen design.

In the 1970s Mellor designed three revolutionary cutlery ranges (Provençal, Chinese and Java) that were the first to combine stainless steel with high quality moulded acetal resin.

The set is for 8 people - dinner knives, dinner forks, side knives, side forks and 2 lots of dessert spoons (that could also be used for soup).

In good condition although the red handles have some fading, particularly on the knives. This has been reflected in the price.

UK delivery is £10.
