Wells was a sculptor, painter and print-maker. He studied at Newcastle-under-Lye School of Art where Jack Clarkson, an associate of Henry Moore, taught him. He showed at numerous exhibitions in London in the 1960s including the Drian Gallery. He also exhibited at the Arts Council, Carnegie Institute Pittsburgh, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Beaux Arts in Bath and the Harlequin Gallery, London.
61cm wide x 76cm high. Also signed to the reverse with some further writing which looks like an address.
