A set of four dining chairs, 2 carvers and 2 side chairs, unknown maker but most probably English, early 20th century.

Simple, quiet design, wooden stick frame with nicely shaped backrests. The carvers are wider with a larger seat area and curved armrests. Comfortable woven cord seats.

The chairs are all strong and sturdy. One of the carvers has a split one of the back posts but it looks stable. One armrest has a slight bit of movement in it.

The finish on the chairs has age and patina and there are marks and some scuffs. The finish on the back of the carvers is more rustic and worn. The woven seats are in very good condition and all strong. More photos can be provided on request.

Measurements of the carvers are 61.5 wide (inc arms) x 56cm deep x 84cm high x 69.75cm arm height x 46cm seat height. The side chairs are 47.75cm wide x 84cm high x 48cm deep x 45.5cm seat height.
