‘Grey Nude’ lithograph by British artist Alistair Grant (1925 - 1997). Signed and marked 13/25, undated but likely to be 1950s/60s.
Grant taught at the Royal College of Art and Printmaking: 35 generations of artists learnt printmaking from him. He was a painter and a printmaker of considerable ability, and in his printmaking, he was a great experimentalist. He fused media - lithography with silk-screen, silk-screen with etching and often all three together.
There is some ageing to the print, some browning/foxing in the corners. It is presented in the vintage frame it came in which also has some wear.
Framed size is 53cm x 67cm.
