Metallux double-shade floor lamp designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Rotaflex, UK, circa 1950s. A rare and important piece of British postwar lighting design.

Square section steel frame with brass fittings and black shades. The position and angle of the shades can be adjusted along the upright frame.

In good condition. No dings to the shades, they have possibly been repainted at some stage in the past but very well done. Brass fittings have aged nicely. The wiring has been redone at some stage. Please contact for a full condition report.
