TC100 soup coffee cups designed in 1959 by Nick Roericht and made by Thomas Rosenthal, Germany. Roericht designed the TC100 range for his thesis at the Ulm School of Design in 1959.

I think technically these are tea cups but more useful as small coffee cups. 8cm diameter x 5.5cm high.
A true display of form following function, Roericht was interested in robustness and practicality. The design was quickly snapped up by MOMA, New York for their permanent collection.
