Vilhelm Lauritzen brass wall lamps for Louis Poulsen

£1,000.00
sold out

A very rare pair of brass wall lamps designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in 1940 for the ‘Radiohuset’ broadcasting house in Copenhagen, Denmark. As well as designing the building, Lauritzen collaborated with his young employee Finn Juhl on all the furniture, lighting and fittings within.

Beautifully shaped brass shades with brass arms and wall plate. Although these were found together they are not quite a pair, one has a different articulated fitting and isn’t quite as long as the other.

There are no dents to the shades. They both have wear and patina to the brass including scratches and some areas of loss. Detailed photographs can be provided.

Price is for the pair of lamps.
